I Heart Dollar Tree!

Yes, Dollar Tree has some questionable stuff. Junk, if you will. But...if you hit just the right shipment, you can find some awesome deals! Like the other day when I found these long stemmed beauties for $1 a piece!

Well, they WERE long stemmed. I cut a few to put in these Target Dollar Spot buckets filled with jelly beans. I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest. I'm thinking maybe a tall skinny galvanized tub or something? Any ideas? I'm embarrassed to say how many I bought! The first time I only bought a few. Then I went to Hobby Lobby to price the EXACT same type of flower and they were $5.99. Even if you got them half price they'd be about $3! So...I went back to Dollar Tree and bought a lot more. I did leave several for any other customers. You are welcome!
I also picked up these bad boys while at a different Dollar Tree. You know they have different stuff at different locations? Anyway, I thought they'd make a nice something round for my tablescape. Again, I wanted to buy more, but showed some restraint this time.

What's your favorite treasure you've found at Dollar Tree?

Yes - I love dollar tree, especially when it's not yard sale season. Thanks for the bday wishes. Dn't worry - I am not organized either, and my house is often a mess. If I can do it, you can too, and the coupon thing - just babysteps. :)Start by printing a few coupons off my blog. That's nice and easy and then see if any of your stores double them. :)
So glad to have found you. We "wanna be;s" can stick together....hee heee

I'm a snob and hate dollar stores! It's probably because I was woken up at 6am on Saturdays and literally dragged by my mother to garage sales for several years. Later, it became dollar stores, which was a little better because they're not open at 6am! If only she had dragged me to Pottery Barns istead, think of all the money I could have saved!

A few years ago when my parents came to visit us in Abilene my parents went to eat by themselves while Marcus and I watched the kids. When they got back to our house my mom went on and on about the dollar store by the Olive Garden. Apparently it is the biggest and best dollar store in the world! I do love those yellow ball things you found though.

Is that Landry or Bethany in that pic of you and one of the girls on your table? I'm leaning towards Bethany, but I really can't tell for sure.

very cute, I will have to go check out my dollar tree for those fabulous gerber daisies! (I know where I'm headed once I'm off of work)

I love the new blog, and I added it to my google reader account. And I love your adorable little flower arrangements. What a great idea for those Target buckets (we still have a few)!

Amanda, those flowers in the pots are great! You could use one in the $5 challenge! Can't believe I just suggested that, now you'll BEAT me. ;)
